The door to hospitality opened soon after I completed my Bachelors degree from NATHM / 8th batch. However, second thought hit me hard and I went to pursue my Master's degree in Hospitality from NATHM rather than joining any hospitality based organization as I wanted to sharpen my theoretical grounds foremost. No wonders to why I give my credits to NATHM for providing me a platform to shape up my hidden potentials. Words will not be enough to extend my vote of thanks to all my respected teachers from NATHM.

During his studies in NATHM, Pradhyumna completed his internships in Hotel Vaishali and Hotel Le Meridian Gokarna. Upon finishing his graduation,he joined The Everest Hotel as a Graduate Management Trainee. He decided to make a further move in his career and joined Hotel Yak & Yeti as an Executive Assistant to Marketing & Communication Manager. His rise through the rank continued where he was made Sales Executive. He has balanced exposure in Hotel Sales and Front Office Operations.He is capable of integrating thoughts, strategy and action, thereby adding value in Senior Management cadre and delivering in Sales & Marketing or Operations.

Most recently he has been appointed as an Assistant Manager Sales.

ADARSHA DHUNGEL

He joined Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu as a Hotel Operation Trainee for 1 year and then he was promoted to Food & Beverage Executive. This opportunity was the perfect stepping stone for him to launch his career. After working there for two years, he got opportunity in American Mission Association, Phora Durbar as a F& B Manager. He was there for a year. He has been doing his Executive Masters in Business Administration at the same time. Most recently he has been working as a F & B Manager in Shangri-La Hotel. As he says his key to success has always been his hard work, honesty and simplicity.
KARUNA SHRESTHA

After completing the course, Karuna decided to step into education field so she started teaching Hotel Management in Lincoln College and Bishnumati College. At the same time she was a part-time instructor for all the hotel management courses at RMTC, Thamel. In the meantime she was also involved in one of the NGO named NOAH'S home.

It was her dream to work in cruise from the NATHM days. So, she took special course in Bartending. She went through various interviews here in Nepal to enter in cruise line and then she had to face interviews in India two times and finally she was ready to set off for the Carnival Cruise Lines in U.S.A. So, she is currently working there as Restaurant  Hostess. During her initial phase in Carnival Cruise she had to undergo through trainings like "Hospitality and Communication Training" and "Crowd Management Training". She started her career in Carnival Cruise Lines as an Assistant Waitress and in a short period because of her good performance she was promoted to the Dining Room College where she topped the course.

Sangam was interested in Hotel Management from his school days. So, at first he joined hotel management school and then decided to graduate in the same. After graduating, he set off to Australia for his further studies in Hotel Management. He worked in Oaks Hotels & Resorts and Rydges Hotel in F & B Department. He is and has always been interested in F&B department so he is working in the same area in Grand Hyatt Melbourne, Australia.

RAMESH GURUNG

After graduating, I was intending to go abroad for further studies in the sector of hospitality management. Due to the certain circumstances, I changed my mind. Then I started working as Food Production and Food & Beverage Services instructor in RMTC as well as the Hotel Management Faculty Member in colleges like Siddhartha College, Kathmandu Community College, Bishnumati College, National College of Computer Studies. Besides these, I've worked as a trainer in the reference of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) for small lodge & hotel management training in Basantapur, Terathum and Taplejung. I've also worked as a F & B Consultant & Trainer in Tamas Fine Dining Restaurant in Thamel.
SUSHMA SHRESTHA

I believe the purpose of life is to do what you love and love what you do. But in real world of Hospitality Industry being prepared is everything because hospitality employers demand well prepared professionals with strong leadership skills for which NATHM has been doing its best. After graduating from NATHM, I have gained enough confidence to face the real world and meet their growing demands in different sectors and areas of hospitality industry.

Currently I am working in Qatar Airways, one of the fastest growing airlines in the world today and its really good experience to work in such a reputed Airline with different nationalities from around the world.

During my BHM in NATHM, I got the opportunity to do my internship in two 5 Star hotels, one is Hotel de l'Annapurna and the other one is The Everest Hotel. This helped me a lot to boost up my confidence and get additional knowledge of the real hotel industry. I am honored to say that I was awarded "Princess Jayanti Achievement Award" for the year 2004,2005 & 2006 for topping among female in the 1st, 2nd & 3rd year continuously. And a Gold Medal in the final year was most encouraging. I got chance to make my parents and teachers proud of me.

Upon graduating from NATHM, I was recruited at Radisson Hotel Kathmandu as a Guest Service Agent (GSA) at Front Office Department. At the same time I was doing Masters in Tourism
Studies (MTS) which was one of my dreams. So,giving priority to my further education, I decided to leave the hotel and continued my studies full fledgedly. When I was in my final semester of Masters, I got involved in an education consultancy. Currently, I am working there as a Programme Manager and looking after major responsibilities of the company. This company helped me a lot to open up and boost up my confidence and face the real world. Then I was offered to join NATHM as an Instructor in Accommodation Department. It was my privilege to serve in the institution from where I studied and graduated.

I am grateful and thankful to all the teachers and staffs of NATHM for making me feel welcome,providing their guidance and support when I needed. Now I am proud to be a member of NAHM family. Thanks for everything to the NATHM Family.
